Child Care Central Professional Development

Professional Development for Early Childhood Educators

Audience of childcare providers in a training session.

Children are learning earlier and faster than ever before, and as a result the role of the early childhood educator is ever changing. Child Care Central Professional Development offers free training, development and resources to center-based and family childcare providers so educators can excel in the classroom. All professional development opportunities meet Alabama Performance Standards.

Services Offered

Training

Available monthly in service Regions 1 & 8, onsite, and online. Training is also available at the yearly Measure of Tomorrow Conference.

​Resource rooms

Stocked with an array of supplies including bulletin board materials, activity boxes, and a wide variety of die cuts in themes such as holidays, animals, food, and transportation, are conveniently located in our main offices in Huntsville and Talladega. Additionally, you can find resource rooms on the campuses of Athens State University, Gadsden State Community College (both Anniston and Gadsden locations), Northwest Shoals Community College and Wallace State Community College.
